To you I leave my desperate nights, the scent of those dark, nocturnal moments for the soul, my poetry; to you I leave the note of Rhum, reminding me of the only companion of that moment, the leather smell of the cover of my old journals, the ink, the warm scent of Cedar wood and the mystery of burnt incense. Walking barefoot, in the woods, the poet will find only a scent remembered, so many years before. Like the poem, like the night.

A tribute to the night, to poetry. Notturno recounts an inner journey of mine, a dark tunnel where I stop and think about the beauty of poetry, the word etched by the ink of life. The heady notes of Rhum mark the way like a slap in the face. An ethereal journey to a distant time, dark imaginary rooms of the mind. The heart of the fragrance is enveloping, as leather wrapped old writers' journals, a warm hint of Spices, Birch and an elegant, dark accord of Leather holds a delicate scent of flowers. It is here, in this instant of the night, that the notes of Ink, introduce the poets who have marked my life: Hölderlin, Rilke, Celan, Strindberg, Dostoevsky. There is a moment in this perfume, where I wanted a sensual and romantic mutation, it is its land, its bottom. The warm notes of Amber and Musk, the creamy, enveloping notes of Sandalwood, the spiritual notes of Cedarwood and Incense. The dusty, smoky memory that lingers over us is the soul of poetry. Notturno signified an important passage for my journey, a fragrance in which I wanted each of us to confront ourselves, with the poetry that has marked our lives.
