AMARA VITA

I return to writing about emotions from my past, which today feels like another life. This time, it’s a love story that ends an event that deeply influenced that moment in my life and this fragrance. My inner self sits there, eating a chocolate cake, gaze lost in the void, amid the lights and shadows of the same world; time passes, and that cake takes on the form of my savior everything will pass, even this love. Bite after bite, my palate becomes a place of healing, where the note of cocoa envelops the pain. Now everything is sweet; now everything is in the past.

COCOA

Cocoa is the heart of Amara Vita, my philosopher’s stone, the matter capable of transforming pain. I imagined it dark, deep and enveloping, forever suspended between bitterness and sweetness. It carries something carnal and intimate within it, a pleasure that almost becomes a refuge. It moves through the fragrance and transforms, meeting Raspberry, Candied Orange, Iris, Sandalwood and Tonka Bean. Yet it is always there, like a presence, a memory accompanying every passage of the composition. Because in Cocoa I found the same contradiction as love: its most intense sweetness and, at the same time, its bitterest side.

A LOVE STORY THAT ENDS

There is a moment, when a love ends, when the world seems to stop and you are left alone with what you feel. I saw myself sitting there, staring into the distance, with a chocolate cake in front of me. Bite after bite, I tried to immerse my pain in that sweetness, as though it could absorb it and carry it away. The palate becomes an intimate place of healing, while Cacao slowly envelops everything that hurts. Then time passes, pain changes its shape, and what once seemed impossible to let go becomes a memory. In the end, a strange serenity remains: the nostalgia for what has been and the sweet awareness of having loved.
